One of the major resources for childhood cancers in South America is the Hematology-Oncology center at Pediatric JP Garrahan Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The hospital diagnoses approximately 30% of all the children with cancer in Argentina.
Cure2Children (C2C) supports data management at this unit to ensure that cases are consolidated, analyzed, and learned from in order to improve global standards of care. This project includes a scholarship for a data manager that supports research at the Hematology-Oncology center at the Pediatric JP Garrahan Hospital. The data collected is shared with the National Argentinian Registrar for Pediatric Cancer (ROHA) and protocol improving Group for Latin-American Pediatric Oncology for metastatic retinoblastoma (GALOP).
